Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an eBusiness Analytics Manager at our headquarters in Newport News, VA.If you are a professional, career-minded individual with an interest in Marketing and ECommerce and who is committed to great customer service, this is the position for you!Responsibilities Support the analytic needs of the organization by analyzing web traffic using clickstream tools such as ClickTracks, Omniture etc. Use standard BI tools to produce reports relating to outcomes. Create holistic dashboards by pulling data from different data sources and websites for presentations to senior management team. Collaborate with external partners to assist with data collection and reporting. Lead driving core insights from the data to suggest, create and execute multivariate or a/b/c tests that drive fundamental improvements to the site experience. Exhibit a high level of expertise in driving the data strategy across multiple "listening posts" (websites, surveys, testing, CRM systems, market research etc). Focus on multiple business unit websites and support all facets of the decision making platform (clickstream analysis, outcomes analysis, search analysis, multivariate testing analysis). Work with technology team to identify gaps in the data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements. Partner outside the business units and outside the company to ensure that best practices in metrics and decision making are being exposed to the business unit management and core website decision makers. Create plans, analyze data and suggest site changes that drive profitability, sales/conversions, usability and operational efficiencies. Measure ROI for eBusiness spend. Develop and manage strategies, timelines and budgets. Identify success metrics Coordinate tag placement and tracking parameter implementations. Understand relevant technology applications in the eBusiness space. Drive requirements trade-offs by proposing solutions based on data findings. Proactively analyze customer behavior using data to influence web site changes. Understand and apply web best practices. Ensure quality customer service and follow-up. Develop and maintain strong relationships with a wide variety of "customers" within the organization. QualificationsA Marketing or Business degree is required for this position. Five years of experience in data/business analysis or reporting field is required. A successful eBusiness Analytics Manager will possess the following: 2 years of experience with Omniture or similar analytics tools. Experience in web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research. Expertise with Business Intelligence tools like Cognos and writing SQL . Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively deal with different personalities. Excellent organizational skills Strong leadership skills Ability to analyze data issues, multiple data sets, and produce working solutions. Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize, multitask and manage deadlines is required. Strong process orientation Ability to handle stress Ability to work well independently and as a team.
