Warehouse Manager

Area rug importer near the Dallas Galleria (I-635 and Dallas North Tollway) has an immediate need for a warehouse manager.  Must be fluently bilingual (English/spanish) and experienced with all facets of warehouse management.

Will supervise a staff of 20 - 30, including administrative processes for warehouse management and payroll approval. 

Minimum 3 years' experience in related job duties is required, and immediate availability is a plus.  Computer skills should be intermediate level, and include Excel, Outlook, UPS, freight carrier, and Fedex.  Additional computer experience is helpful as well.

This position will have core hours of 9am - 6pm Monday - Friday, but will require very flexible scheduling, including weekends if needed in order to meet shipping requirements.  Requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis, and drive a forklift and/or other lifting devices. 

The perfect candidate will be ready to walk in and take charge of a working warehouse, quickly learn our processes and procedures, and be ready to contribute as a member of the Management team as we grow and implement the changes necessary to face a changing economic environment.  We are in the homefurnishings industry, and efficiency means everything - dollars are precious, and we're looking for the person who can take charge of our warehouse and work with upper management to streamline.
