Position Summary

 

This position requires an individual with technical software support experience, advanced troubleshooting/problem analysis skills, and excellent internal customer service and communication skills.  This individual must work well in a team environment and be able to prioritize multiple projects.

 

Responsibilities

 Troubleshooting business applications, using query analyzer, enterprise manager, SQL management studioCreate and maintain reports utilizing Crystal Reports 11.0Develop and maintain business application software using MS Access, VB, VB Script and .NetDrive continuous improvement while ensuring that all application systems and procedures are planned, built, maintained, executed, etc. in accordance with company standardsProvide support for the following applications:  Activant Solutions’ Prophet 21; CMS Worldlink Shipping Manifest System; Cisco IPCC and Call Manager; Crystal Reports 11.0; MS SQL (2000/2005); MS Office

 Qualifications

 5-7 years experience4 year degree in Computer Science or similar disciplineStrong problem solving abilityProven time management and prioritization skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environmentStrong Windows desktop and OS experienceSkilled in creating and debugging SQL statements, db performance tuning desirableExperience with Microsoft SQL server (2000/2005)Comfort with major business application concepts and terminology
