Senior Tax Accountant

THE OPPORTUNITY: POOLCORP currently needs an experienced Senior Tax Accountant.  If you want a challenging position with a stable, growing firm and an industry leader, this position may be ideal for you! Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns; Prepare and file personal property tax returns; Assist in preparation of federal and state income tax returns including FAS 109/FIN 48 analysis; Assist in accumulating information and research for tax audits; Research notices and correspondence with tax authorities; Reconcile tax information to and from general ledger accounts; Coordinate with internal departments to accumulate data to prepare annual filings for unclaimed property. Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:   A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related finance field; 1-3 years of experience preparing and filing sales tax returns for a multi-state corporation; Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; Strong computer skills including use of MS Office programs.
