Seeking A Counter Sales Representative To Join OUR Team!

Graybar, the nation’s premier distributor of electrical & comm/data products is currently seeking an experienced, energetic Electrical Products Sales Representative for our Richmond location. RESPONSIBILITIES: Sell merchandise to customers over counter, utilizing knowledge of product sold.  Suggest selections that meet customers’ needs, and emphasize selling points of article such as quality and utility.  Prepare sales slip.  Receive payment or obtain credit authorization. Place new merchandise on display. Review and maintain counter inventory levels. Recommend new stock items by completing necessary forms. Maintain security of cash drawer and shipping ticket audit copies. Perform other duties as assigned.Experience: One to three years related sales and warehouse experience preferred. Experience in the electrical industry is preferred.Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of warehousing and office routing procedures preferred.  Ability to work with customers. NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE:  8:00 a.m. ‑ 5:00 p.m.  Monday through Friday Some overtime required  Graybar is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
