Sales & Marketing Assistant - Home Textiles

The Company:
Orient Originals, Inc. is a very well established 18 year old importer and wholesaler of home textiles on the fast growth track. We sell to leading chain stores. We are a solid well financed company. Our customers include Wal-Mart, Pier 1 Imports, Bed Bath & Beyond etc. We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Assistant.

The Job:
- Work with the President to create and develop the marketing plan.
- Manage the the process of product development, PO origination, overseas production and shipment to customers in coordination with the warehouse and factories.
- Interact with large retail customers.
- Prepare customer presentations.
- Inventory forecasting.
- Create periodic marketing analysis.
- Prepare SKU and style numbers for new products.
- Reports to President and CEO.

The Candidate:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Sales and Marketing of home textiles.
- Must have substantial experience in dealing with large chain stores.
- Must be self motivated and a self starter.
- Must demonstrate initiative, be able to work independently, and have very good analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong creative and aesthetic skills and an eye for color are required.
- Strong MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and project management skills
