Our continued growth has created a need for a Commercial Roofing Sales Manager to specialize in roofing materials and building products. This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual who has experience developing new business opportunities within commercial roofing products. We are looking for someone that can act as our central Commercial Roofing resource for the upstate NY and New England region.Some of the responsibilities of this position include: Supporting the regional sales force in all facets of the commercial roofing business including but not limited to pricing, competitive analysis, vendor support, product knowledge and lead generation Developing long term relationships with existing customer base Assisting sales force to identify new business opportunities with potential customers Working to establish add-on business with existing customers Working to establish strong vendor relationships Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the marketplace and products Determining the nature of profitable vs. non-profitable business through trend analysis Working to improve the commercial roofing selling skills and product knowledge of existing employees Developing plans for increased department profitability Attending industry and product related training programs, conferences, seminars and educational forums The successful candidate who fills this role will possess the following skills / experiences: Sales experience with expert knowledge of commercial roofing Ability to build consensus through a matrix environment to drive revenue and profit improvment Experience in a team-based environment Experience in handling multiple projects/tasks at once Experience in a position that deals directly with customers and suppliersEEOFor quick consideration apply here
