Refrigeration Technician II
One of Houston’s largest Wholesale Grocery Distributor has an immediate opening for a Refrigeration Technician II for a high volume wholesale company in the Houston area.
The Refrigeration Technician II is responsible for performing operation, maintenance, problem solving and repair on all facility Freon and anhydrous ammonia refrigeration equipment and systems such as compressors, evaporator coils, cooling towers and related high and low pressure fluid and gas piping, pumps and valves. The Technician works in critical cold storage and freezer rooms and production occupancies with computerized logic controlled electro-mechanical actuation devices and equipment to maintain optimum temperature conditions and achieve maximum energy efficiency for production and product protection. This position also performs and is responsible for strict monitoring and record keeping of refrigerant use, handling and storage to comply with DEQ regulations.
