Purchasing / Replenishment Assistant

Ellery Home Styles LLC, a leading supplier to major retailers of branded and private label home fashions products (bedding, window curtains, etc.) is seeking an energetic assistant for replenishment to work in our NYC Office

 

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to): Work with Senior Analyst to assist in all purchasing for new and replenishment programsWork  to analyze customer demand/production needs based on past history, current sales, and forecastingCommunicate with our foreign and domestic offices to discuss efficiency and problem resolution with all running ordersReview production schedules to maintain accuracy of delivery Assist in maintaining accurate records Coordinate with Senior Analyst to help maintain satisfactory inventory levels to meet customers demand

 

 

Qualifications: Candidate must have 3 or more years of experience in a demand planning/purchasing role Bachelors Degree in Business or related course study PreferredComputer Literate including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.  AS400 experience preferred but not required. Must be detail oriented, able to multi task while working in a fast paced environment
