Purchasing Coordinator (Bilingual Japanese)
PURCHASING Coordinator positions available with 2 Trading Companies in the South Bay area!
Verbal and written proficiency in Japanese is mandatory.
Position 1: $28-36K (Aerospace Industry) JOB ID# 9084a
- Bilingual English/Japanese (read & write)
- Good English communication skills necessary to communicate/negotiate with vendors in the US
- Previous work experience in purchasing or import/export highly preferred
- Must be able to work overtime to communicate with Japan
Position2: $30-45K (Auto Industry) JOB ID#9074a
- Entry-Level candidate welcome
- Bilingual English/Japanese (read & write)
- Good English communication skills to communicate with vendors regarding any shipment/quality discrepancies
- Ability to lift heavy boxes
- Must be able to participate in 2 business trips (approximately 4 days each) a year
- Duties include:
1. Consolidating orders from customers utilizing Excel spreadsheets and placing orders with vendors
2. Occasionally drive company truck to pick up merchandise from local vendors
3. Warehouse duties including moving/lifting received merchandise, quality check of merchandise, preparing shipments to Japan and driving a forklift
- Company open to providing H1-B transfer for qualified candidate
Company will conduct English/Japanese reading/writing comprehension test during interview
