Procurement Coordinator

 

International trading company is seeking a Procurement Coordinator for its Ontario, California corporate office.  Individuals must be eager to learn and take on a challenge.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

§  Confirm information on replenishment orders

§  Create Purchase Orders in ERP system

§  Create Port Of Entry Orders for international shipments going direct to customer

§  Interact with S/O and R/O to ensure any changes in production requirements are followed up in a timely manner

§  Liaison with R/O (planners) to control scheduling of product to ensure adequate stock level is maintained on hand for warehouse replenishment, seasonal forecast, and promotions while staying within stock level buffers

§  Revise Purchase orders that need price, quantity or ship date revisions

§  E-mail Sales Representatives and overseas of PO’s cut daily

§  Prepare management reports upon request

§  Provide support to other team members within the department when needed

§  Filing Requirements:

 

§  Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

§  Great interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with R/O, S/O and co-workers

§  1-2 years experience in similar position working with an international trading company

§  Imporlt/Export knowledge preferred

§  Bilingual English/Mandarin preferred to ease communication with overseas

§  College degree is a plus
