SUMMARY

Planet Green is a leading manufacture of inkjet printer cartridges. Our world-side targets has demanded our quality products and has made demands for us to produce over 100k+ units per month. We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for plant operations and maintenance of equipment on premises. This high qualified candidate will establish plant policies, procedures, production schedules, etc.. The Plant Manager will be responsible for planning and meeting production goals and promote a well-trained work environment and motivated staff.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (other applicable duties as required) Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe production plant. Conduct minor maintenance /service on production equipmentResponsible scheduling and meeting plant production goals Establish and maintain a positive community relationship. Promote well-trained and motivated staff. Consult with other managers to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, and shipping. Select and train plant supervisory and administrative staff. Conduct employee performance reviews. Schedule and conduct production meetings. Responsible for the product quality control for the plant. Meet with other mangers regularly to improve production and discuss further goalsDevelop ways to automate production plant and processes for increased efficiencyPro-actively construct procedures and plans to improve and maximize productionNeeds to be able to work in a fast pace production atmosphere with tight deadlinesPro-Actively seeks suppliers and vendors to qualify parts and materialResponsible for reporting and recording all activity and productivity to upper management.Will work closely and reports to CEO and VPO of strategic plans, innovations and plant goals status.

Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. Direction of plant operations and community relations requires significant manufacturing knowledge as well as advanced interpersonal and supervisory skills. This is normally acquired by five to ten years of manufacturing experience which includes supervisory responsibility. Candidate MUST HAVE mechanical/technical background.Proficient in MS Word and ExcelMust have background in QuickBooks

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds, excessive standing walking from one end of the warehouse to the other. Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, dusk masks and gloves. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
