PRODUCTION ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
New View Gifts & Accessories is an importer of decorative home accessories located in Media, PA.
We are currently seeking a Production Coordinator with superior verbal and written communication skills to coordinate all ocean and in-land freight between overseas factories, forwarders and warehouse to ensure on-time arrivals.
Job Requirements Include:
Provide seamless communication with overseas vendors as it relates to time lines and purchase order ship dates
Maintain all information of final production styles
Receive and carefully review all transportation documents including invoices, packing lists, textile declarations, and Bills of Lading
Follow up with factories and forwarders for on time bookings and shipments
Calculate full loads and pallets for overseas shipments
Provide information to factories as it relates to packing and ticketing production items
Cost analysis
The ideal candidate will have 2 + years experience in production planning and scheduling with an attitude to learn. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, be proficient in Word and Excel, highly organized and attentive to detail. Precise communication and follow up skills are essential.
