Marketing/Advertising Manager-Hardlines

POSITION PROFILE:(Position/Department Responsibilities) Position is critical to executing communication strategies across various medias. Acts as a liason to Marketing in support of the Sr. VP, Divisional Leaders, and buying teams in gathering, preparing, and delivering objectives through various communication vehicles to the field to achieve desired results. Significant Duties/Responsibilities: Major corporate meetings, YBM, Shareholders, Holiday ¿Create parameters of merchandise division to be sync with corporate direction ¿Lead merchandise division coordinator team to ensure project is developed on time and make decisions that creates an effective and actionable presentation to store management ¿Coordinates all activities between marketing department who is responsible for meetings and merchandise team. ¿Creates and decides on template for all merchandising for notebook that is the take away document for store management. ¿Ensure that all merchandise division teams have direction to set merchandise division floors correctly and consistently Circular coordination ¿Create parameters of merchandise division to be sync with corporate direction ¿Will create first looks at circulars by taking pictures of products and working thru DMMs, dept. coordinators, and marketing team. This will be developed into a layout which creates customer enthusiasm of products. ¿Responsibility for proofing all circulars. Guides ¿Designs and manages schedule for timing and quantity of guides ¿Coordinates all input from all merchandise division ¿Decides on what content stays or what needs to modified. Videos ¿Responsible for coordinating SWAS broadcasts from each merchandise division to store department managers Friday merchandise meetings ¿Responsible for coordinating merchandise division presentations through development of templates ¿Proofs content for accuracy and consistency ¿Responsible for producing any handouts for merchandise division in these meetings ¿Will do part of presentation when necessary Other Corporate meetings ¿Applies corporate to subjects or presentations in a manner similar to larger corporate meetings ¿In many cases this will go beyond merchandise division areas ProjectlBrand launches ¿Coordinates all aspects of presentations for these projects including templates, displays, and handouts Project stores ¿Coordinates special highlighted/visible project stores to ensure store openings are executed to the highest level in merchandise division. In may cases this will represent a first time change that will become a standard for other stores.
