Job Description:



The primary duties will be to handle spot buy purchases and the replenishment of a MRO supply crib located on the customer site of a Fortune 500 company. We are seeking a motivated individual to coordinate customer needs, inventory management, cost savings initiatives and product delivery. The position requires solid customer service, organizational and sourcing skills.

 



The candidate must be well versed on the operation of maintenance cribs, cost savings and supply chain management. The candidate must have good telephone skills, good computer skills and MRO product knowledge. Experience with computer managed inventory system and report generation systems are a must. Product background can be in any area of MRO commodities. The candidate must have a strong familiarity with the use of e-mail, the Internet, MS Word and Excel. Prior experience with either SAP or Maximo will be a plus. The position requires experience in managing the activities of additional buyers.
