Visiontac Inc. is seeking a sales representative to continue the growth and expansion of our business by calling on vendors and retailers in the home décor, gift industry. This individual will be directly responsible for developing new business.  The successful candidate must be highly motivated with the ability to prospect and close new accounts.  We are looking for an individual who has excellent communication skills and the desire to succeed.  Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.

Major Requirements/Responsibilities: Maximize all opportunities in the process of generating and closing a sale resulting in the taking of market share from competitors by marketing and selling products. Develops relationships with new and existing customers and provides information to maximize sales volume.Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email and networking.Develops annual business plan in conjunction with Sales Manager, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus the Sales Associate on meeting or exceeding sales quota.Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers. Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity. Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations and responses that identify prospects.Provides customers with product information to assist them in determining appropriate merchandise to purchase.Recommends additional products or services to meet customer needsRequires experience in sales and thorough knowledge of the organization's products and/or services.Negotiating contracts with accounts.Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory, including the use of Microsoft Outlook to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential.Develops annual business plan in conjunction with Sales Manager, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus the Sales Associate on meeting or exceeding sales quota.Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

 

 EducationBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Experience2-3 years of outside sales experience.Ability to manage a territory from a home office if needed.Knowledge of the gift and home décor retail market.Wholesale industry experience with existing relationship in territory is a plus.

SkillsProven ability to prospect and close new accounts.  Strong planning, organization, follow through and teamwork skills.  Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with strong customer service orientation. Must have good computer skills (including Excel, Word and Outlook), be detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment.
