IT Manager

Our rapid growth has created a career opportunity for a bright, energetic, and experienced IT Manager to fulfill a critical aspect of our customer service strategy by ensuring that IT programs align with and support enterprise objectives, achieving a "best in class" customer service ranking through innovation and technology.  This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for driving key IT initiatives, including web-based, B2B, CRM and supply chain projects, supporting users with diverse skill sets throughout the organization.

Preferred qualifications:

 

■ B.S./B.A. degree or equivalent, with emphasis in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management of Information Systems, or related subject matter

■ A minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing IT professionals and/or consultants including expertise in:

§ Web application development/maintenance

§ Database development/administration

§ Programming

§ Software development best practices, including defining requirements, system design and quality assurance

■ Knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including networking, development, hardware, software, peripherals, network application, help desk, architecture, security, and disaster recovery

■ Demonstrated track record of technical development including portal, content management, search, web analytics, etc.

■ Previous experience managing software development projects that include one or more of the following languages: ASP, C#.Net, VB.Net, HTML

■ PMP Certification desirable

■ Developed project management skills and business acumen, including unparalleled presentation and communication (written/verbal) skills with a demonstrated focus on customer service, sales and marketing

■ Solid understanding of network optimization and scalability

■ Familiarity with a variety of systems, including both voice and data

■ Knowledge of dynamic web service development technologies including content management systems, and web metrics tools is desirable

■ Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills

■ Developed work ethic, including interpersonal and time-management skills, enabling multiple task completion

■ Superior PC skills utilizing MS Office applications, e-mail, and other proprietary software
