IT DEPARTMENT ASSISTANT - PART TIME

International Distributor of electronic components and hardware seeking an IT Assistant for its Marlboro location. Position is part-time - 8:00 am. - 12:00 pm. Monday-Friday. Reporting to the IT director, the assistant will be responsible for printing and distributing various reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule. Other duties include:create spreadsheets, compose mail, maintain paper and electronic files, and create documents. Accurate data entry of information to various IT Department databases is required. The IT Assistant will also handle very basic support calls and/or assist in prioritizing "help desk" calls using help desk software. Duties will vary and may change with new technological advancements.Ideal candidate should have experience working with Microsoft Ofice, Outlook, Excel, and Word. Key characteristics include good interpersonal skills, sense of enthusiasm, interest, and motivation for the business. Logical thinking is an important asset in order to prioritize the work on a day-to-day basis. Applicant should be very organized and accurate, show a positive image that reflects well on the organization, and have a basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory control. HS Diploma and Basic office skills proficiency are required.
