Help Desk / Computer Technician

Hercules Tire & Rubber Company, a leading private brand distributor of domestic and import tires is in need of an individual to fill our Help Desk / Computer Technician position at our Findlay, OH corporate facility. A successful candidate will have excellent problem solving, communication and customer services skills. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field preferred, associates degree required. Job duties will include:  Documenting and following up on user requests by using the proper help desk software. Enhancing and developing the network by evaluating products and implementing new technology. Responding to user’s needs to make modifications and coordinate with software vendors and manage projects in coordination with outside suppliers of services and developing useful information from system data utilizing various tools available in house. Ensuring adequate security of systems and data to ensure backups are run properly and verified. Ensuring proper PC setup and documentation by using the setup procedures; document hardware additions and moves. Maintaining adequate inventory of computer equipment and supplies by purchasing from approved vendors.Salary and Benefit Plan Includes: Competitive salary, medical, dental, short and long term disability, life insurance, and 401K plan with 5% company match.
