A leading manufacturer and distributor is looking for a Director of Operations to manage the operational and business goings on of our Northern NJ warehouse and distribution center. We are a family-owned and run company with a highly dedicated team. As our organization continues its success, this newly created position will be an important part of the upper management team. In filling this role, you will enjoy direct access to everyone in the company from the top down, and will be relied on to implement and carry out new formalized processes and protocols. Reporting to the company vice president, our new Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for our high volume, fast paced distribution center and company. Your background in distribution and warehousing will allow you ensure operational efficiency and cost effectiveness from our customer service, order entry, and warehouse managers and their teams.

Your first task will be to analyze existing processes and determine what works and what needs improvement. Going forward, you will establish new protocols and methodologies to better service our customers and manage our business more efficiently. Experience with P&L responsibility and general business administrative functions will provide you the necessary foundation to hit the ground running. You are proactive, you think on your feet, you have lots of patience, and you are ready to join our family and make a home with us as our reliable Director of Operations.
