Direct Imports and Custom Shipping Expert

CITY/STATE: Eden Prairie, MNPOSITION TYPE: Part Time, Temporary/Contract/ProjectJOB CATEGORY: Sales/Retail/Business DevelopmentSALARY: 10.00 - 12.00 USD /hour Direct Imports and Custom Shipping Expert We are currently looking for someone with experience in Direct Importing and Customs Shipping.  This is a part-time position between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30pm.  If you have this type of experience and are looking for part-time day hours please see below for details!Duties Include:* Handling and creating shipping documents for imported consumer products (invoices/packing lists, bills of lading).  We need someone that has had this specific experience.  You would follow up with China factories to make sure that they sent us the documents and then create our documents to go along with these and submit to USA forwarding offices for customs clearance.*  Sample tracking (using Excel spreadsheet). Following up with factories to make sure samples have been sent.  Finding cheapest method of transportation for samples (DHL, FedEx, USPS, etc) Opening samples when they arrive at our office and updating sample tracking spreadsheet.  Communicating with our staff on what has arrived and asking what to do with the samples.  Inspecting samples to make sure they are ok.  Unpacking and repacking for delivery to buyers or shipping to buyers if not local.  Cleaning up packing materials to recycle or dispose of. *vvHelp to pack and ship our Customer Service spare parts (tracking, record keeping, finding cheapest method of shipping, delivering to post office, etc.) *  Labeling multiple pieces in shipping cartons and preparing for shipment of purchase orders to final customers. *  Tracking purchase orders at factories in China to make sure they are shipping on time (possibly) Other Requiremenets*  Strong attention to detail*  Excellent customer service skills*  Knowledge of Word, Excel, and the Internet*  Takes direction well*  "Nose to the grindstone" type attitude*  Someone with strong focus Please send your resume to edenprairie@ultimatestaffing.com to be considered for this position.  We will review your resume and contact you as soon as we possibly can.
