Customer Service Rep – Bid Dept.

 

Customer’s Served: Bid Departments for the following: Schools, Municipalities, Federal & State Governments etc.

Reports to: Vice President of Sales

Role Summary: Primarily responsible for contacting the person in charge of the Bid’s at the above mentioned outlets. Work closely with Sales & Operations assuring pricing, sampling and shipments are correct and on time.

Principal Accountabilities (essential job functions):

1. Research the correct contact person who can supply us with the Bid’s that are available for writing instruments.

2. Create Data Base for all potential bid’s to include contacts, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, date of bids, items up for bid etc.

3. Work with different departments within Zebra Pen to assure 100% customer satisfaction and be the liaison between the departments.

4. Follow up w/Bid contact to make sure all literature & samples were delivered. Continue to follow up until Bid is granted.
