Assistant Buyer

Basic Job Description:  Assist multiple Buyers with day to day purchasing functions via communication with Product Manufacturer’s or D&H Sales Reps. utilizing e-mail or telephone.

      Post product price changes to the computer system.     Add manufacturer program rebates to the computer system.     Monitor and respond to e-mails when buyer is away        Send weekly inventory to manufacturer as directed.     Respond to sales related inquiries     Communicate directly with internal and external customers     Provide ETA’s, pricing, product specifications, etc. to Sales     Set up manufacturers part numbers

 

Job Requirements:    ability to multi task in a fast passed environment    excellent communication skills    excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook program    good time management skills    solid job history
