Area Manager, Outside Sales

 

Pack-Mark, Inc. is looking for an Area Manager to manage accounts in the Austin area.

 

Pack-Mark, Inc. is a industry leading, multi-million dollar Industrial Packaging Supply company specializing in Packaging Tapes, Wrapping and Bundling Films, Protective Packaging and Strapping. Our primary customers are manufacturing and distribution companies.

 

People in this position are the primary resources through which we communicate with our prospects and customers and provide for profitable growth of the company.

 

Applicant must be an aggressive self-starter, windows literate, have good communication skills, dependable transportation and a desire to make up to ten sales calls/day.

 

Bachelors degree preferred. Industrial sales/customer service/packaging experience helpful.

 

Compensation ranks among the highest in our industry, including travel expenses, medical and 401K plan.

 

 

Basic Function:

Improve the company’s net profitability by providing prospects and customers with a resource that can establish, manage, and improve the business relationship they have with Pack-Mark, Inc.

 

Provide customers with a contact who is skilled in the features and benefits of the products and services we sell, and who can communicate those benefits to improve the customer’s profitability and increase their loyalty to Pack-Mark, Inc.

 

Responsibilities:

Increase sales and gross margin for the company.

Maintain a product focus consistent with the company’s goals and objectives.

Develop and maintaining a current knowledge of appropriate products and applications.

 

Duties:

  Prospecting, developing and penetrating target accounts in territory.

    Researching product and application information for customers and           prospects.

    Preparing quotations and proposals, and faxing or delivering them to       customers



Responding quickly and consistently to customer requests for assistance with specifications, quality issues, service requirements and quotations.
