Technical Manager

Technical Manager:

Wanted for new, state-of-the-art, facility located in Newark, NJ. Position will be accountable for spearheading technical operations for an innovative waste transfer and disposal facility. This is our Company’s new Flagship facility which utilizes pioneering equipment from both domestic and international suppliers. Position will provide leadership in developing, strategically planning and implementation of a first class preventative maintenance and repair program which targets 98% equipment reliability during times of operational demand.  

Requires frequent interface with Management team members and international and domestic partners. Will make key suggestions on equipment and process enhancements targeting operational excellence.

Key requirements are 3-5 years progressive hands on experience with material process equipment commissioning, troubleshooting and repair planning within heavy industrial applications such as Power Generation, Waste-to-Energy, Chemical and Refining or Manufacturing.  BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering a plus but will also consider practical experience. Hands on familiarity with equipment instrumentation required with direct experience with Siemens process controller diagnostic interfacing a plus.
