Program Manager - Environmental

ESNA is currently seeking an Environmental Program Manager to launch environmental programs at new customer facilities across the country, primarily the Midwest. This position will involve lots of onsite time with customers at all levels so the ability to communicate with, train, work with and like people is a must.  Our Program Managers launch, maintain and grow our services so candidates must be motivated to provide excellent service, quick-learners and have great organizational skills.  Successful candidate will have a strong desire to see environmental responsibility grow among our customers. 

 

Writing, typing, basic math and computer skills (especially Word & Excel) are a necessity. Experience with Microsoft CRM a plus.  A Bachelor’s degree with a focus in environmental engineering/management, education, training, or program management is preferred, but experience in the environmental industry will be strongly considered.

 

The duties and responsibilities of an Environmental Program Manager include the following:

 

§ Develop and implement training and education including “Client Focused� management, ongoing customer maintenance, and equipment trainings

 

§ Coordination of distribution of equipment, educational materials and other support media at customer locations

 

§ Evaluate customer’s recycling and environmental programs through facility audits and provide program analysis to customers

 

§ Provide monthly, quarterly, and miscellaneous reports for customers

 

§ Customer support to include responding to off-specification loads and developing an action plan resulting in successful resolution

 

§ Conduct tours of ESNA designated treatment, disposal and recycling facilities to insure that the needs of the customer are fulfilled

 

§ Management and administration of material recycling, waste disposal and sourcing of equipment, subcontractors and supplies to maximize results for the customer

 

§ Conduct initial and ongoing meetings with customers to develop environmental and recycling programs for their facilities

 

§ Plan and design modifications to programs and recommend “Cost Saves�

 

§ Develop and implement Program Management proposals that advance the goals of ESNA and insure customer loyalty

 

§ Participate in special projects such as attending tradeshows and exhibitions and performing billing research and reconciliations for customers

 

§ Coordinate marketing communication through press releases, broadcast fax, broadcast emails, and mass land mail

 

§ In conjunction with the Account Manger develop new customers and opportunities within the existing customer base to further the growth of ESNA
