Bookkeeper/Office Manager – Temp-to-Perm - salary up to $50K

 

Regional wholesale recycling company seeks a dynamic Bookkeeper/Office Manager for our Romulus location.  We are in need of a degreed Controller who will oversee all accounting responsibilities and administrative staff. 

 

Responsibilities:

 Day to day processing of accounting functionsAccounts PayableAccounts ReceivableBilling/Cash ReceiptsOutsourced Payroll using PaysystemsPeriod close (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, analysis). Bank reconciliations, balance sheet account reconciliations.Oversee administrative office functions

Experience:

 Bachelors Degree in Accounting is preferred but not required. 3 + Years experience in accounting with full cycle accounting Some exposure to supervisory / staff management experience is necessary. Strong PC and IT systems skills with a good comfort level using MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).  Must also have knowledge of computerized Accounting Packages & G/L Systems for automated accounting functions. Ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be diligent, detailed, efficient, organized and will be an effective communicator.

 

Position is available immediately and we will be conducting interviews the week of

September 15th and September 22nd.
