TERMINAL/TRANSPORTATION MANAGER

TERMINAL/TRANSPORTATION MANAGER Leading trucking company is seeking a local candidate in the Southern PA or Northern Maryland area to coordinate the day-to-day trucking operations for its local facility. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a staff of CDL-A drivers and dispatchers, as well as ensuring all safety/compliance and policies/procedures are adhered to, and process improvements are identified and implemented. In addition, you will assist with staffing efforts, handle a variety of administrative tasks, and play an integral role in the continued expansion of the facility. Qualification include:prior experience directing and scheduling a team of CDL-A driversstrong leadership and motivational abilitiesexcellent oral/written communication, organizational and interpersonal skillsknowledge of DOT and OSHA requirementsfamiliarity with the Mid-Atlantic region of USability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentstrong reporting and problem-solving skillsPC proficiency In return, we offer a competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package which includes Blue Cross/Blue Shield Health & Dental Insurance, Paid Holidays/Vacations and a 401(k) plan.
