Description:We seek a highly motivated and creative software developer to join our Billing & Imaging Development team. The person in this position will be expected to perform analysis, design, programming, testing and maintenance tasks to meet business needs. This position requires a team player who can communicate well, work in an entrepreneurial environment, and deliver complex technical solutions.- This position will work with the Billing and Imaging Development team to design, build, test and deploy solutions for all business lines. - Develop solutions required for complex application features - Provide high-level technical options that may span multiple systems- Identify high-level system impacts - Translate high-level requirements into detailed designs- Contribute to technical estimation process - Perform unit testing and some functional testing - Plan and prepare technical documentation- Work directly with the project team to create technical design specifications and develop custom solutions - Adhere to application architecture standards - Acquire a thorough understanding of the business area supportedThis position will be expected to demonstrate performance in a manner that is consistent CHRW IT Core Values including know our business; be entrepreneurial; be a team player; provide excellent customer service; be passionate; know our technology; communicate, communicate, communicate; respect people; be accountable; and have a strong and balanced work ethic.Qualifications:- At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology with knowledge/experience in Object-Oriented Analysis, Object-Oriented Design and Object-Oriented Programming.- Have ability and willingness to quickly learn custom enterprise applications. - Be a self starter with excellent communication and problem solving skills. - Have experience with Microsoft Development platform and the following technologies: VB.Net, VB6, COM, ASP.Net, XML and MS SQL Server. - Experience in delivering enterprise level solutions in a timely manner with high quality. - Team Player- Excellent problem solving and analysis skills. - Effective listening, written and verbal skills. - Attention to detailPreferred Qualifications: - Experience with ICONIX development process helpful, but not required.Required Education: - Undergrad degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent work experienceSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceWe offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, prescription drug coverage, paid holidays and vacation, disability insurance, life insurance, 401K with company match, profit sharing, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and the opportunity to prosper in a growing Fortune 500 company.Job Location: Eden Prairie, MNJob Number: 3128Company URL: http://www.chrobinson.com/careers/Company Profile:At C.H.
