Senior Project Manager, Security
MTA/Bridges and Tunnels, the largest bridge and tunnel authority in the nation is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Security in our New York office. This position directly supports and maintains Windows servers, Oracle and SQL databases, Lenel and Integraph applications that make up the agency’s electronic access control and video surveillance systems.
In this position, you will be responsible for disaster recovery planning; data storage protection; ensuring that all electronic security servers and applications are properly configured and administered; coordinating security issues to ensure Agency systems are optimally configured to provide the highest level of security possible; designing and implementing new security enhancements and other new electronic security projects.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, along with at least 4 years of professional active systems security experience OR an Associates degree in Computer Science or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of experience. Previous experience with Intergraph, Lenel OnGuard, Broadware and other associated electronic access control as well as intrusion detection, digital video surveillance and intercom systems are helpful. Industry level certifications in Lenel, Microsoft Windows Server 2003, MSSQL and Oracle are preferred. Knowledge of security best practices both physical and electronic is a necessary. Excellent prioritizing, organizational, analytical, multi-tasking, problem solving, project management, written and verbal communication skills are essential. Proficiency in MS Windows Server 2003, MS Clustering, Active Directory & Group Policies, Microsoft SQL, Oracle Database and TCP/IP networking is imperative. A valid NY State driver’s license is a must. The ability to work various shifts and be on call 24/7 is required.
