GES Exposition Services, a leading tradeshow and event marketing company, is seeking a high-energy, growth-oriented professional with demonstrated leadership abilities, integrity and passion for hassle-free service for the position of Senior Accounts Receivable Coordinator at our office in Las Vegas, NV   The Sr. Accounts Receivable Coordinator will provide direct support to the AR Supervisor in all areas of responsibility within the AR department. This includes direct communication with both internal and external clients on all AR related matters: systems conversion, training, cash application, check scanning/deposit preparation, dispute research/resolution, vendor relationships coordination, related centralization efforts on charge equipment and online tools from vendors, workload/staff oversight and may get involved in other areas of AR as directed.    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   Primary Functions: · Participate/lead AR system conversion, prepare training materials/presentations on new applications and process all transactional activity related to billing, cash application, report consolidation and reconciliation required for initial conversion and bridging over from legacy to new systems. · For legacy systems - reconciliation of; cash applied, receiving/application of wire transfers, monitoring of unapplied cash, inter-company AR and related banking statements · Support local offices, internal departments and clients on AR related questions/issues · Dispute logging, research, resolution and responses within strict timelines · Trains, schedules, assigns and reviews work of staff to ensure accurate processing of transactions · Serve as back up to various accounts receivable functions · Coordinates with internal departments to ensure seamless and timely resolution to account discrepancies · Review and approve adjustments/credit memos to customer receivables as deemed necessary · Monitor adherence to and development of key processes as it relates to SOX compliance and update related documentation as necessary · Establish and implement AR department short and long term goals to ensure alignment with company objectives · Performs additional duties as assigned.   EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS: · Minimum of 2 years college required and Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred (Accounting/Finance/Business Emphasis) · Continued education in credit card industry services and trends   JOB RELAVENT EXPERIENCE: · 3 years Accounts Receivable lead/supervisor experience required · Strong ability to analyze/interpret financial statements, prepare reconciliations and find trends to drive efficiencies and organizational behavior   JOB-RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: · Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills · Knowledge and ability to develop policies and procedures · PC Skills with MS-Office   WORKING CONDITIONS: · Office environment, team atmosphere, multi-tasking and deadline driven activities, · Less than 15% travel   Give yourself the opportunity to grow with a progressive company offering excellent compensation and benefits.
