Senior Account Development Manager Job Title: Senior Account Development Manager Job Classification: Full-Time Employee Reports to: Director, Account Development Department: Account Development Location: Chicago / Any WhereJob Description:This position is responsible for the relationship management of companies that have contracted services within the Orbitz Worldwide. The position is responsible for interfacing with other OWW departments in managing the accounts’ performance, escalated customer service issues, and product development needs. The Account Management position is also responsible for developing the account through adoption and retention programs. Activities include but not limited to; pre-sale support and client interaction, account reviews, establishing corporate goals and adoption targets.Area of Accountability Conduct ongoing communication with the corporate travel manager and key executives of corporate accounts Establish strong link between the Customer Service team managing corporate accounts and ensure high level of customer service and issue resolution Track and resolve customer service issues that have been escalated Track and evaluate customers’ recommendations and requests for product and service development and improvements Liaise with corporate project team to include customer product development requests into the development chain Evaluate travel program performance on a monthly basis and share performance results with corporate account Develop and execute business strategy plan with top key accounts focused on increase adoption Provide monthly account management reports to senior managementPerformance Objectives Ensure account base is retained and 100% referenceable Meet or exceed revenue goals Maintain a high level of client satisfaction both at the user and corporate level Meet or exceed adoption goals Key knowledge and skills Tech-savvy with ability to communicate technical product features effectively and enthusiastically Knowledge of travel industry preferred, previous experience with travel technology products and operations strongly desired Exceptional communication skills Strong analytical skills Ability to handle multiple priorities, possess a high degree of flexibility and work well with other in a team capacity Must take initiative and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Experience in a sales organization with direct or indirect responsibilitiesEducation / Experience 3-5 years professional client relationship management within a corporate travel environment required for this position. Strong experience with travel technology and /or operations required. Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience
