Oracle Database Administrator
Crown-IT is seeking well qualified candidates for the following DBA position in the Mid Cities area:
Evaluates company database performance and makes recommendations on improvements to senior level management and system architects within the organization. Assists in administering, maintaining, developing and implementing policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database. Has a strong fundamental understanding of industry practices and responsibilities assigned to him/her.
Experience
10+ years oracle administration, configuration and perfromance tuning
5+ years oracle backup and recovery of highly available systems
5+ years oracle administration, configuration and perfromance tuning for Data warehousing and data mart
3+ years of Oracle 10G/RAC/ASM
10+ years SQL tuning for applications and batch process
5+ years with ETL tools
5+ years with system administration related to oracle setup and configuration
Education and Training:
Bachelors in Computer science or related fields
Oracle Certification
Data Warehouse Administration, EMC, JDBC (Oracle), Linux, Mid Range Servers, Oracle, RedHat, Siebel, Solaris, SQL, Storage devices, Teradata, Unix, Unix Shell
