Marketing Data Base Analyst

Position: Marketing Data Base Analyst

 

The Marketing Data Base Analyst will work closely with the Marketing, Circulation and Line of Business teams in identifying and answering key Business Intelligence questions. This is not just a reporting role, this person will need to provide insights as well.

 

Responsibilities:

 

1.  Reporting and Analysis: Utilize the marketing database to create marketing lists and reports for Marketing, circulation and business units within the organization.

2.  Report development and analysis of marketing trends, selected direct mail campaign results, and the ability to communicate analysis to Product Managers, Circulation, and Management.

3.  Managing House File: Working with outside vendors, maintain and update house file  and marketing database. 




Requirements:

Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and presentation skills. BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business or other related area is required. Two years experience in Finance, Marketing, Database Marketing or related field preferred. Require experience with marketing analytics and report development utilizing SAS and SQL.  Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Proven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy. Working knowledge of relational database architecture desired. Ability to work in a fast paced, high growth environment.
