Allegiant Air, LLC - a growing & successful airline has an immediate opening at our corporate office for a Manager of Airline Technical Support / Aircraft Troubleshooting in Las Vegas, NV.
The Manager of Airline Technical Support / Aircraft Troubleshooting oversees the development of repair schemes and processes of troubleshooting to ensure the effective repair of Allegiant Air aircraft.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred A & P licenseFCC license 10 years 121 airline experience preferredMD-80 experience highly desired Computer Literate Adobe familiarity Word & Excel experience highly desirable
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES: Ensures that operational needs are met by coordination with various departments within the Operations and Maintenance Divisions such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Maintenance Planning, Line Maintenance, Flight Operations, Maintenance Control, Aircraft Acquisitions (Heavy Maintenance), Other Departments as directed by the Director of Technical Services Coordinating with Vendors, both Original Equipment Manufacturers and service providers, oversees the development of repair schemes and troubleshooting procedures to affect the repair/modification of Allegiant Air aircraft Oversees a technical staff dedicated to the objective of improving aircraft reliability, efficiency of the technical workforce and customer service Coordinates with various Allegiant Air Operations Division departments to ensure proper implementation of repair and troubleshooting processes Ensures Communication to Allegiant’s technical staff of the identification of chronic problems and the recommended courses of action, status of repair or troubleshooting plans Assists in support of Maintenance Control to ensure aircraft operations Coordinates support of line maintenance with the Manager of Maintenance to ensure aircraft operations Coordinates support of heavy maintenance with the Director of Aircraft Induction Reviews service bulletins, service letters, and other data to identify repairs for chronic problems, or modifications for reliability and customer service improvements Monitors, reviews, and analyzes Allegiant generated data to identify chronic problems Administrates personnel assigned Participates in manufacture’s resolution teams Conducts aircraft surveys Other duties/functions as directed by the Director of Technical Services
