Manager, Marketing Analytics



Viking is looking for a strong, detail oriented, energetic and motivated individual with a passion for marketing effectiveness. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on a number of initiatives to support the business across marketing functions to improve performance.

  Develop and manage the analysis and interpretation of marketing data to support business decision-making and improve the efficiency of marketing efforts Create and distribute periodic marketing dashboard Oversee and lead competitive research efforts Partner with direct marketing, e-commerce, and technology departments to plan and monitor programs and campaigns Design and implement appropriate methodology and for customer touch point and CRM analysis

Qualifications Minimum of 5-7 years role within marketing analytics, customer insight, or business intelligence function Intellectually curious; able to analyze data to uncover trends and make recommendations, fiscally savvy Exposure to multi-channel marketing strategies, including direct marketing, acquisition and loyalty marketing, B2B, and e-commerce. Quantitative background, with strong analytical skills and a solid foundation in strategic business management Management and staff development experience required Experience in conducting or leading web analytics Masters degree preferred (MBA, Statistics, Social Science Research, Economics, Quantitative Marketing) 

Skills Strong business analytical skills with a proven track record of delivering actionable insight Advanced or expert knowledge of Excel, with working knowledge of Access, SQL, Hyperion, Brio, Cognos, and other OLAP tools Firm understanding of database concepts, including querying, architecture, and systems integration Proven ability to communicate complex, technical concepts to executive team Strong presentation and consultative skills
