  Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

·  Check furniture to ensure acceptable condition for delivery prior to loading trucks

·  Accurately load truck, checking items against lease agreement

· Deliver and install furniture in a safe manner and within agreed upon time frame

· Pickup furniture at lease end

· Perform truck maintenance to ensure safe delivery vehicle

· Work in a manner that is safe for self, co-workers, customers, and product

· Rotate working days of general warehouse work and making deliveries/pick-ups

 

Delivery Driver Qualifications:

· at least 1 year of related service industry driving/delivery experience (example: driving/delivery of furniture, large appliance, or other similar delivery experience)

· ability to speak English

· proof of identification and employment eligibility

· a clean MVR

· DOT Certification

· ability to pass agility test, pre-employment drug screen, and background check

· ability to regularly lift at least 80 lbs or more frequently

 

CORT offers competitive salaries, complete benefit package, 401(k), profit sharing, performance sharing bonus program, safety bonus program, educational expense reimbursement, and employee discount.  No overnight travel.  Starting wage is $11.50/hr.
