This is an exciting opportunity to work for a high profile market leader, developing innovative user interfaces (including Facebook Application Development) for an organization that values energetic self-starters who thrive in a project-oriented environment.The website includes community-driven content, including embedded blog feeds, user-posted photos and independant and personal reviews of travel destinations and attractions.We are looking for a smart and experienced senior software engineer to join a group of talented engineers who are passionate about building a great travel web site. The qualified individual will have a proven track record delivering high quality results, while thriving in a quickly paced environment. The individual will be responsible for all aspects of software engineering, from design to implementation and maintenance. The individual will be creating and modifying the internal tools needed to keep the site data fresh and to aid in business decisions for senior management. In addition to being personally responsible for writing Java code in a Linux/Mac environment (not a Windows environment), you will frequently also be responsible for leading project teams of 1-3 developers.
