HR Generalist I
I. Job Summary Administers basic HR functions for a specific employee group. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. Provides direct support to HR Manager in various areas such as employee relations, recruitment and staffing, training and development, benefits and compensation, policy and procedure compliance, organizational development, and other corporate initiatives. These duties include but are not limited to: *    Assisting with the staffing and hiring process. *    Investigating help line calls and resolving employee conflicts and/or questions. *    Assisting with facilitation of training programs. *    Managing special projects such as salary planning, benefits enrollment, flu shots, etc. *    Monitoring sites for compliance to Federal, State, and local laws and company policies. *    Developing and analyzing HR metrics, such as employee turnover reports. III. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory duties. IV. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. A. Education and Experience Required: Associate's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar area of study, and two to three years previous experience. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar area of study, and two to three years previous experience. B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements Preferred: SHRM. C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required HR, payroll, and/or recruiting experience may be required.
