Enterprise Account Manager - Logistics

Opportunity:

Due to unprecedented growth, Echo is looking for an on-site, Enterprise Account Manager in Rogers, MN.  This position is focused on leading a team of Account Executives to service, retain and grow one of Echo’s key accounts.  This is a client facing role with a heavy operational focus. Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for ensuring world class service by proactively managing client specific objectives

- Establishing strong business relationships with client by creating solutions to complex issues that generate results.

- Conduct quarterly account review sessions to continuously establish Echo’s value and partnership

- Determine growth opportunities and competitive threats within assigned client base

- Assess technical business requirements of the client and work internally to ensure those requirements are met.

- Create a culture of continuous quality improvement aimed at the highest level of client satisfaction

- Manage, develop and lead a team of Account Executives

- Establish team goals and objectives and hold Account Executives accountable for their execution.

- Manage overall workload and Account Executive scheduling.

 

Characteristics & Requirements:

- 5-10 years experience with at least 3 years of those years in a customer facing role, preferably with an outsourced vendor

- Third party logistics and/or corporate logistics experience preferred

- Self motivated

- Strong financial background

- Strategic thinker; constantly focused on new opportunities to grow business and solve problems

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Knowledge of various modes Transportation (Truck Load, LTL, Small Parcel, Air / Ocean)

- Strong technical aptitude and analytical nature

 

Education:

- BA/BS Degree in business, supply chain/logistics, finance, or related field

- MBA preferred
