 Director of Corporate Services National Express Corporation is a multi-national owner and operator of school bus transportation services.  We are currently the 2nd largest provider in the United States, operating in 29 states in the US and 2 provinces in Canada.  We currently have an opening for a Director, Corporate Services. National Express Corporation is currently seeking a Director of Corporate Services for our Downers Grove, Illinois location. As the Director, you will have the opportunity to provide and monitor facility/property management and procurement services. This will be done in accordance with NEC vision, capabilities, values, policies, service promise, relevant regulatory requirements and safety and security considerations. You will lead and manage the real estate and property management functions for 180 NEC facilities (e.g. sales offices, customer service centers, maintenance yards, parking lots, corporate offices etc.) in all locations in Canada and the U.S. ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and requirements. In this role, you will develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to manage the procurement of all NEC purchases excluding buses and related parts/equipment. Job Requirements:Significant expertise applying the principles and practices of facilities/property management with demonstrated senior level facility/property management experience overseeing a large, decentralized property management portfolio of at least 100 or more properties Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods and tools of procurement with significant centralized purchasing experience to secure cost efficient procurement opportunities Knowledge of relevant regulatory and legislative requirements to ensure compliance of NEC facilities Ability to manage the centralized purchasing of all NEC equipment and supplies excluding buses and related equipment/parts Experience applying the practices and processes of contract administration to manage multiple contracts simultaneously  Experience managing the planning, budgeting, scheduling and management of contracts for facility modifications as well as managing sales of facilities no longer required Strong leadership, planning and organization skills to facilitate the management, maintenance and operation of a large number of properties North America wide Excellent leadership, managerial and decision-making experience and skills to effectively manage Corporate Services including hiring; training; motivating; setting performance expectations; monitoring, assessing and evaluating performance; dealing with disciplinary/employee issues  Experience managing external property management contractors and consultants and administering third party contracts Demonstrated ability to research, analyze and evaluate facility and supply options, analyze operation information to identify trends and recommend appropriate strategies Demonstrated relationship management and customer service skills to ensure the provision of excellence in customer service in the property management and procurement functions throughout NEC
