Director, Project Administration THE Tunnel Project

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Responsible for directing the coordination effort and reporting protocols required by the Federal Transit Administration's (FTA) New Starts Program.

2. Responsible for implementing the technology component to ensure seamless integration among the design team, construction management team, NJ TRANSIT and Port Authority.

WE ARE CONCURRENTLY SOURCING EXTERNAL CANDIDATES
3. Directs the development and implementation of a comprehensive document control system. Manages a consultant team effort to coordinate the user-friendly development of this program.

4. Serves as the principal liaison from THE Tunnel project in coordinating with the NJ TRANSIT Human Resources Department and the Port Authority Human Resources Department.

5. Coordinates employee logistics in joint project office for consultants and project team.

6. Develops system and protocols to ensure unified project administration between consultants and project team.

7. Responsible for the development and day-to-day administration of the office protocols and operations.

KNOWLEDGE
SKILLS REQUIRED:

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent, and ten (10) years experience working with project administration. Strong background in FTA project reporting, as well as technology, record management and human resources. Experience with document control systems desired. Experience with CPAS/PRINTS or other cost tracking/scheduling software required. Knowledge of MS Word/Excel required. Four (4) or more years of managerial experience required. Excellent written and verbal skills required.
