The Director- International Product and Development is responsible for managing and leading Mark International’s direction and prioritization of product/service development. Provides direction for product development support in order to create and grow value for our clients, our suppliers, and LME. Fluency in a foreign language is required for this role.

Essential Functions: Provides supervision, direction and leadership to direct reports. Manages people resources to achieve SBU objectives. Development and training opportunities are proactively planned and provided to direct reports, or others as appropriate. Provide day-to-day direction of International Product Coordinators, and lead/coordinate efforts with International Product Managers to provide consistency and results. Creates and manages product development strategies, manages and provides direction for line-up, pricing, and inventory management processes. Develops and implements product development strategies and actively initiates joint planning with Destination Experience, shared services, marketing alliance partners to maximize results. Works closely with VP during planning and implementation. Occasionally participates in tradeshows, meets with customers and suppliers. Manage product development related expenses. Assist in the development of the annual budget for product development related expenses and manage those expenses to be within plan. Leads website content/navigation design, development and management. Oversees the implementation of SBT and other technology tools. Provides direction for content and continually develops the effectiveness of our website and reservations system to meet the needs of our customers and LME. Effectively communicate, promote and implement new MI technology applications with our customers.

Requirements: Fluency in foreign language is required. Four-year college degree in marketing, business or related studies, with an MBA preferred. Minimum four years’ marketing, brand management, product management, or travel industry experience. Website experience/content management (Business to Business model). Minimum of three years’ supervisory experience. Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and decision-making skills. Ability to perform under tight deadlines.
