DISPATCHER

Scully Distribution Services, Inc. is a well-respected company in the transportation industry for over 25 years providing unique solutions to meet our customers’ needs.  With locations all over the Western Region of the U.S. we provide services to a large customer base including dedicated contract carriage, full service leasing and rental. We are currently seeking a Dispatcher to work onsite at our customer’s facility located in San Lorenzo, CA. We need someone who is self-motivated, detailed and highly dependable. This is a high visibility, high activity position requiring a strong commitment and work ethic in meeting deadlines, coordinating loads, and working well and taking direction from all levels, including drivers, customers and internal management to lead a successful operation. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong desire to progress, who understands the value of delivering on-time performance consistently. We want someone who will take on more responsibility and demonstrate good judgment-someone with a goal of running their own account.  

Minimum Job Requirements: Must have 3-5 years experience in the trucking industry, preferably working a dedicated account Must have a Class A CDLExtensive knowledge with AS400 system Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to work long hours Must be able to multi-task, be organized, efficient, accurate and accountable to job responsibilities Must possess excellent interpersonal skills AA degree preferred
