JOB SUMMARY:   The Credit Card Services Associate will provide direct support to the Credit Card Services team within the AR department. This includes direct communication with both internal and external clients on all AR related matters: significant filing, Credit Card Services, charge activity research and resolution, dispute research/resolution, related centralization efforts on charge equipment and online tools from vendors and may get involved in other areas of AR as directed.    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   ·  Filing and retrieving alphabetically organized files, verifying information from sales and customers, and transporting boxes to and from warehouses. ·  Converting paper filing system to electronic file management system (scanning). ·  Entering data on spreadsheets and maintaining department database records. ·  Receiving inbound calls from various city locations and clients and accepting credit card payment information. ·  Manually charge credit cards using Hypercom equipment. ·  Email credit card approvals and authorization codes to sales. ·  Call customers for CVV code verification. Second callbacks may be required. ·  Apply charges to customers’ accounts. ·  Credit Card Services batch posting (automated reconciliation/resolution, settlement reporting and manual postings) ·  Inventory/maintain appropriate records of all charge equipment, lease and ownership agreements and consolidation/centralization of same ·  Download of daily credit card services activity, reconciliation, tracking, monitoring and reporting ·  Recommend and drive improvements in credit card services including improved card member information privacy and records retention. ·  Stay current on credit, best practices, business issues, credit card servicing and collection laws that may impact results. ·  Assist with overflow work from Credit Card Services Coordinators. ·  Performs additional duties as assigned.   EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS: ·  Minimum of 2 years college required (Accounting/Finance/Business Emphasis) ·  Continued education in credit card industry services and trends   JOB RELAVENT EXPERIENCE: ·  3+ years combination of customer service, call center and/or credit card services experience required ·  Ability to analyze/interpret financial data, prepare reconciliations and find trends to drive efficiencies and organizational behavior ·  Experience in establishing, consolidating or centralizing credit card services or call center setting highly preferred   JOB-RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: ·  Strong interpersonal and communication skills ·  Strong computer and organization skills ·  Ability to work both independently and in a team environment ·  Knowledge and ability to develop policies and procedures ·  PC Skills with MS-Office ·  Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel.   WORKING CONDITIONS: ·  Office environment, less than 5% travel, rotation schedules to include some weekends, holidays and split shifts until 8 p.m. Job Code : 3179 Division/Department : GES Exposition Services Travel Required : 0-10% Contact Information
