Serves as the single point of coordination (i.e. ?freight forwarder?) between customers and air carriers.Tasks & Accountabilities: Completes coordination between all applicable parties for Airfreight export shipments. Ensures service commitments are achieved and maintained in accordance with client and company objectives. Prepares documents necessary to complete the export process. Helps ensure that the quality system is implemented and maintained within area of responsibility. Prepares, issues, and submits documentation to ensure proper exportation of client shipments. Provides clients with advice concerning terms of delivery, payment, insurance and all other Airfreight export services affecting client needs. Ensures invoicing of rendered services is completed accurately and in a timeframe consistent with company policy.Qualification: Generally 1-3 years Airfreight export operations experience. Strong keyboard capability, familiarity with basic accounting principles, understanding of US Automated Export System (AES), familiarity with US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) procedures and basic Airfreight export knowledge. HS diploma or GED required. Dangerous Goods IATA certification a plus.
