Accounting Clerk
Central States Bus Sales is a dealer for several manufactures of school and transit buses, and is the largest Blue Bird School Bus dealer in the country. We have four locations covering five states and are headquartered in Fenton, Mo. (I-44 & I-270). We are seeking experienced accounting clerk.
The primary responsibility is to pay the company’s bills in timely and accurate manner and prepare bank deposits. Other responsibilities include:
Job Duties Include:Enter accounts payable into accounting systemPrepare check runsPrepare and make bank deposits using a remote deposit scannerMaintain A/P files through our document imaging softwareVerify vendor monthly statements and investigate any discrepanciesUpdate spreadsheet calculations for variety of needsBackup our receptionist on the switchboard
Job Skills Required:High School Diploma2-5 years accounts payable experienceAbility to multi-taskStrong organizational skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Software including Excel
