Account Executive


Summary

Maintains accurate records of all sales accounts, analyzes business trends, identifies areas of growth and constantly works to increase all clientele base for designated area of responsibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.

Forecasts sales activities and sets personal/company goals accordingly.

Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.

Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales.

Handles product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.

Delivers all sales presentations to key clients.

Meets with key clients, and maintains good relationships for negotiating and closing deals.

Reports to District Sales Manager periodic sales report showing individual sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

Handles product research and development.

Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.


Education and/or Experience

Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.


Other Skills and Abilities

Transportation experience is highly desired along with shipping/transportation sale contractual agreements.



Other Qualifications

Must have a minimum of 5 years career experience and be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
