AR & Collections Specialist

I. POSITION: AR & Collections Specialist II. POSITION SUMMARY: Main responsibility is to perform duties associated with the collection of accounts receivable. May also be responsible for the process of billing customer invoices on specific assigned accounts. III. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: A. Verifies accuracy of billing to customers per their requirements and according to company policy. B. Process accurate and timely billing to assigned customers per their requirements and according to company policy. C. Manages, analyzes the necessity for and processes billing corrections. D. Reviews status of delinquent accounts and communicates with customers, management and sales staff to expedite collection. E. Assists the Customer Account Control Specialist with updates to customer billing requirements. . Job Requirements: V. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: A. High School Diploma or equivalent. B. Good organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. C. Accurate and precise math skills; good communication skills. D. Willingness to follow procedures; team player; works well under pressure. E. General knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel preferred.
