878853CP SAP Business Analyst
Local company in Memphis, TN seeks a SAP Business Analyst (SD) for a permanent position. This position will be responsible for configuring, maintaining and supporting business processes within the SAP systems as it pertains to Sales and Distribution. Additionally, this person will be responsible for documentation and training of the specified module. Excellent communication skills are required in that this position is required to consult with the user community regarding business functional needs.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Develop, examine and maintain business model, recommend changes when appropriate
- Provide functional help and support in SAP modules with concentration on SD and MM
- Extent of knowledge must also include the following:
- IMG configuration as it pertains to the SD processes
- Order Management to include Order Types, Item Categories, Routing, Delivery methods, Schedule Line Categories, Available-to-Promise, Availability Check, Copy Controls, Pricing, Shipping, Delivery & Billing, SAPScript, etc.)
- Warehousing – storage locations, shipping points, etc.
- Basic Data (Customer Master Data, Material Master Data)
- All business function areas as it pertains to the SD modules of SAP
- Determine needs of the users, document and develop options for solutions to issues, problems and reporting needs
- Maintain and update SAP Documentation (Data Flow information)
- Open, Respond and Research OSS notes
- Provide training for users when necessary
- Help determine user training needs and proper training sources
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree, preferably with a concentration in Business Administration or Management of Information Systems
- 3+ years SAP experience with SD
- Experience with Implementations and Conversions a plus
- Project Leadership experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and planning skills
